I have been trying to get in on some fabric trades, this would be just awesome. My mom has always supported me and especially as a crafter, she is always getting me little gifts of fabric and yarn. I want to make a quilt for her. I blog at backtothecraft.blogspot.ca and I would really really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the Traveling Stash Box!Emily Carneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18211749965134783909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-979572820167386258.post-27143473147343611052014-02-25T16:02:32.895-08:002014-02-25T16:02:32.895-08:00My mom has always had a big influence in my life.....My mom has always had a big influence in my life...she always nurtured the artistic talents that all of us had...even today she still encourages me when I quilt, paint or crochet...as an artist herself she always had so much to impart to our lives...I would love a chance for this box to come for a visit...Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04778881951560644932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-979572820167386258.post-9290876314580786162014-02-25T08:41:27.166-08:002014-02-25T08:41:27.166-08:00My dear sweet hubby was a HUGE influence in my lif...My dear sweet hubby was a HUGE influence in my life and someone I totally did not deserve. My great grandmother and grandmothers influenced me in my journey to quilt. I recall visiting aunts in Indiana and on the ceiling where the quilts....waiting to be lowered so that the quilting could be continued. I have an aunt who continues sewing and quilting. She and I occasionally select a challenge to a small quilts or wall quilt to reduce our stashes. Jan Essary recognized my love of books and reading, and nurtured my writing skills through a difficult year. I ended up becoming an English teacher and count her as the main reason I did so.
